Job Description:


The successful candidate will develop, drive, and manage Automotive business in the Chinese automotive market.

  • Responsible for driving design ins, product promotion & technical support coordination.
  • Understand and analyze system requirements, future trends within the region and report these to the product development teams.
  • Implement the business unit strategy within the region.
  • Work closely with other business units (e.g., Microcontrollers, Touchscreen Controllers, Networking Solutions, Car Access Solutions, Analog and Power Solutions) to support key customers in the region.
  • Drive growth with existing products and assist with regional launches of new products.  
  • Provide guidance and supports implementation for appropriate OEM engagement.
  • Set and achieve revenue plans for the region and supports associated demand forecasting.
  • Develop go to market plan for the region including both direct clients and channel strategy.  
  • Develop and manage parts pricing strategy for the region.
  • Create Key Account growth and development plan with sales organization. 
  • Conduct a competitive analysis in the region.
  • Develop training plans for sales organization including distribution network.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BSEE and 5+ years marketing and application or sales background in semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in automotive industry preferred.
  • Experience in MCU and/or HMI systems are advantageous.
  • Strong people skills and experience in customer-facing position.
  • Able to demonstrate teamwork in a cross-functional, global team environment.
  • Ability to establish constructive working relationships with customers, field sales teams and business units.
  • Experience in working with and in complex organizations.
  • Ability to balance top level market insights with bottom-up analysis to reach conclusions about market direction and implement product promotion strategies.
